Awesome pasta. The daily bullits are literally the best. They sell out often and I always bring my family out of town here. You can't eat there but it's great for any to go food. The lasagna is great with thick homemade noodles that is surprisingly delicious (I always had thin noodles in the past). The fried meatballs are excellent and this is coming from a person that avoids fried food. The service is warm and friendly and that's why I tried the meatball and happened to love it. Definitely recommend this place-it's been around forever and I know why!

OH MARIAAAA you had me at MEATBALL. I thought i knew meatballs until i had marias fried meatball...and then i realized i didnt know meatballs until now. Every italian spot in this area has one strong point and this is it for Maria's. Dont get one, 5, or 10 get like 20. They are hot, crispy, flavorful, and soft on the inside. mmmmMMMMmmMMM. not to mention their fresh sauces, lasagna, fried dough on sundays, and rigatoni is all amazing and delicious. They also make amazing sandwiches you can grab and go for lunch. Only downfall is you have to eat it in your car or home...but its still worth it.

We stopped today for the first time. They offered a sample meatball which was delicious. Left with meatball ravioli, fresh rigitoni. We will definitely be back on a planned trip. Thanks!! You made customers out of us!!

I stopped by here because I heard about their delicious fried meatballs. Right when I walked in I was greeted with whom i assumed was one of the owners. I told him I was looking around and it was my first time in the shop. He immediately offered me a sample of the fried meatball. Of course I didn't reject it. It was delicious! Just enough breadcrumbs and the right amount of meat and seasonings. I also purchased a couple bags of raviolis. Prices are reasonable in my opinion because it is made right in their shop. You can't beat fresh home made pasta. They had frozen pasta meals already made, garlic bread, Italian bread, homemade sauces such as marinara, vodka, pesto, San Mariano, and Alfredo. They even have lunches and dinners to go. I'll definitely be back to try other things. #supportlocals

If you are a ravioli lover like we are, you have to go to Maris's Pasta Shop! Having lived in the NYC Metro area for years and now upstate in the Finger Lakes Region, you will only find the very best homemade ravioli in Utica at Maria's! This was the 2nd Christmas in a row that we made the trip east to Utica and stocked up. Great variety, great ingredients, super nice people! Don't miss going to Maria's! It's really worth the drive!!

Fried Dough "pizza fritta" available on Sunday's as well as already fried meatballs. While you there grab some home made pasta for later. Also the sauce is really good. Take the containers from the top shelf as it has more and fresh seasoning than sauce on lower shelf. Good stuff and good people. Take out only.
